Is it ok to still wish you my lovely readers a happy new year being that this is my first post since the year started?? I think this is just a reminder of how MIA i have been from here. Well i`m hoping and believing you guys started yours on a good note! Mine started on so much reflection which has done me well. Can`t complain at all. There is actually no room for complaints at this point of my life 🙂
January has been cold, wet, freezing and gloomy. It has been a month full of cuddling and bundling up in layers. Hot teas, scarves and warm blankets have been the norm of the day. I have also been listening to alot of motivational videos which have really had a great impact on me. Talking about feeling rejuvenated and having a positive mindset! Can`t wait to see what 2017 has in store for me!
What a surprise it was for me when the sun paid us a short visit this weekend. Although i had already planned out a shoot on this day, i was very much pleased to have an amazing weather to back me up. I`m that one person who always struggles with getting the right tailored pants. It`s either the fit is not right, they don`t stretch or they are way too expensive for my budget. So guess what happened? It`s that time of the year when the Winter Sales are crazy. And guys when i tell you i was prepared for this sale two months in advance, you know how serious this deal is. But the story doesn`t end there. Early this month, we got a letter from our landlord that someone has bought our apartment. So that means we have to move out as soon as possible (insert a sad and depressed emoji). And that also means that my plan with this winter sales deal is out of the window. Just like that…. But heyyy, atleast i managed to score this cute two piece suit set which i`m totally heads over heels in love with.
Although i`m not really into trends, I have to admit that i have a soft spot for this ,,Oxford Shoes”. I knew very well i wanted to style this pant suit with this amazing shoes. As much as i love my heels, i think i`ll have to take a break from them. My oh my!! This is just it!! The comfort level was a 10 out of 10. They actually reminded me of my primary and high school days, when my school uniform consisted of a dress or skirt and some sort of white socks and black shoes. Shout out to everyone who had the chance to experience this. Sweet memories indeed 🙂
I styled this look in two ways and this post was meant to have both of the looks. As i was selecting the pictures i realized that my dearest hubby managed to capture quite a number of shots and there was no way they were all going to fit in this post. So i figured out why not make a part two of it and post it later on in the week! Excited!!!
With that being said, i want to wish you all a productive week ahead. Make it fruitful and stay blessed loves 🙂
