I know it`s been a minute since i posted something on this little space of mine but i don`t know if it`s only in Germany that we have been experiencing terrible weather because my dear friends, ,,Winter” decided to actually pay us an earlier visit as anticipated and my oh my.. this time i could feel the cold breeze of air flowing in my blood! Not even funny.. It`s actually the first time that i personally experienced snow in November. Usually it does snow in Christmas or even later when the year is coming to an end! Talking of Christmas, we have only some few weeks left. Five weeks to be precise :). Like where did the time go to? This is going to be one of the best Christmas that my family and i are going to celebrate. I can´t wait to share it with all of you. But that`s for another post.
Well i think it was about that time that hubby got a feature on the blog. I mean without him, this blog wouldn`t run smoothly as expected. I love the fact that he goes out of his way and makes sure i`m comfortable and happy in all that i do. He is actually the man who does all that magic behind the lens. I always call him the man with the ,,Gifted Hands”! because that is exactly how i would describe him. I don`t think i will ever get tired of saying and repeating the fact that i i`m forever thankful to God for giving me a man who not only thirsts for his Word but also has a gift of preaching and sharing the Word to the world. And that has been the number one secret to our Marriage till date 🙂
I recall exactly when i originally told him i wanted to start a blog. I for sure knew it was something we wanted to think about. We both needed time. Mostly him. He took his time and researched what we needed. He discussed with me what kind of content would be great for my Blog. He was and still is always ready to scout locations for our next photo shoots. You should actually see him watching some Youtube videos trying to figure out how we can improve our picture quality! Aaargh… Youtube has been a lifesaver in so many ways . I can`t even start. I`m always humbled by his gestures and undeniable love that radiates through his actions and words. But the most beautiful part is the relationship he has with our son Robin. He is his mentor, his friend, his father, his teacher. I mean just anything and everything i ever thought the father of my children would be.
I am content with what i have. I am proud to say that when we met eight years ago we started from scratch and slowly but surely, we have and we are still building an empire together. And that includes all the challenges, the ups and downs, the good and bad times. It`s not always a smooth road for us. As a matter of fact there is no perfect marriage. Not only is marriage a work process. I am a true believer that friendship or any kind of relationship of the matter is a two way street. Both parties have to put an effort and make it work. It`s easier written than done but it`s totally worth it at the end. Atleast i can testify on that!
We are all human. Sometimes we underestimate the influence of little things but most of the times, it is these little things that we do outside the norm that matter the most. Whether it`s a thank you, one little text, a heartfelt and sincere apology, an honest compliment, you name it! Any random act of kindness would brighten up anybody`s day 🙂
This is not the last time seeing the hubbs here. I thought it would be a good idea if we had a male segment to spice things up once in a while. Any ideas on how i should name this segment would be much appreciated. He is actually more than happy that i want him to be part of this dream of mine. After all a family that prays together works together, right? So for my male readers (if there are any of the matter) look out for more male inspired fashion looks. I think i will end this post here before i right a whole book on this topic!
