Project 6: Pussy Bow Tie Blouse

30/11/2017

Happy New Month 🙂

Whoaaaa!! What a rollercoaster 2017 has been! There is alot to be grateful for and one of them is making it this far. Here we are. The 1st of December 2017 :).

A month that is so cherished and looked forward to by many. Unfortunately, that`s not the case for everyone.  So much has  been happening around the world. It`s sickening. It`s more than sad to watch how our country has been torn apart due to tribalism and greed in the name of Power. Lives have been taken away from innocent children who will never be able to celebrate Christmas with their families again. It has been hard taking in all these events one after the other. One of the reasons why I believe it surely  is time to turn on a new leaf which is 2018 for me. How has 2017 been to you?

I`m more than glad to have finally finished this Project which I`ve always wanted to put my hands on since i started sewing. The Pussy Bow Tie Blouse is that classic piece which will always stay winning in my books. It`s quite sad that i can`t wear it at the moment due to the freezing temperatures  but I`m so happy i managed to snap a few pictures before it got so cold. I paired it with my favourite black pencil skirt, some stilleto pumps and a bag black. I think adding a belt would have elevated this look a notch higher.

I hope this month brings you favour and so much joy.

Happy Friday 🙂

Milly

You are oozing so much elegance Milly, I am always in love with your projects, keep it up! 2017 was an emotional roller coaster that mostly went down for me after losing my uncle and mum, I hope 2018 will be good to me.
