Happy Easter Loves!
I`m typing this blogpost in the comfort of my bed as i`m planning in my head how i will make this Easter lash and comfortable for my boys and I. Talking of multi -tasking; the story of my life :).
In my Family we take Easter seriously. There’s a bit more to the Easter story than just chocolate eggs. In fact, it’s one of the most significant events in the Christian calendar. Today, the meaning of Easter, for million of Christians, is that of honoring and recognizing Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe in Him. I grew up in a Christian family and i`m glad God blessed me with a man who not only knows him but also has a passion in teaching His ways and word to the rest of the world. And for that reason, i`m forever grateful for his life and calling as a Pastor in our church.
Can`t believe we are almost in April! Where is time going? And Hello Spring?? Though it doesn`t feel like Spring yet, this weekend is meant to be sunny and warm according to the weather forecast. I don`t know whether i should be happy about this anticipated Sunny Weekend, or the fact that we have a long weekend to chill and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ…. Mmmmh. Either way, both of them sound pretty good to me!
So back to the Outfit
I finally got myself my first ever pair of Sneakers and let me tell you guys! I´m in LOVE 🙂 I mean where was i all this while?? The sneaker has made a big comeback since last year. I must say though it took me a while to find the right pair that fits my style and i`m glad i took the time to get something that i feel comfortable in. And my ooh my, this has been my go to shoes of choice for work, grocery shopping, a walk with my boys in the park, you name it!
Since i was going for a neutral and laid back kinda look, i styled the sneakeres with a dungaree and a white long sleeved t-shirt. The Blazer gave it a sophisticated chic vibe that i absolutely adore. In my books, you can never go wrong with a Blazer. I loved the outcome of this look so much. Definitely one of my best looks that i had fun putting together.
Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful Easter. Stay positive, share a meal together and Enjoyyyy! Life is too short 🙂
