A Color close to my heart. So refreshing and calm. In my world of colors, it would have to be on top of my list on any single day to brighten up a dull day. The past weekend felt like Spring. Not a warm kind of Spring. More of like a cold, chilly, fresh type of thing.
The type that you could actually see the sun peeking through the mist. It`s no longer so dark in the wee hours of the morning. The birds are back. Life is finally coming back to the trees and flowers. The long cold Winter is finally melting away. How amazing is it to witness mother nature changing! Thinking about it makes me happy. Excited. Upbeat. Elated. Cheerful. On a scale of excitement between 1 to 10, i would go for 10,5!!! Haha….. Can`t blame a girl for being ecstatic, right??
The past two weeks was quite challenging. I had this stomach bug which left me bed-ridden for almost a week. It`s been the longest time ever since i felt so helpless and weak. This reminded me once again how important it is to be thankful and grateful every single day for good health. When there is profit made from illness, good health can`t be obtained. I have witnessed this after seeing how cancer slowy stole the life of my precious father. But he was a fighter. A warrior. He battled this sickness for almost 10 years like a soldier. 10 good years of not giving up. 10 good years of living with nothing but a cold and cruel disease that sucked every ounce of energy he had running in his veins. Despite him being at his weakest point, he still radiated nothing but positivity, humbleness and pure love. My Hero indeed. I`ve come to realize that it is Health that is real Wealth and not pieces of Gold and silver. That`s why incoporating exercise and eating right has been a major priority in my life. I`m loving it so far 🙂
So back to my outfit 🙂
Some call it the Duster coat, others the Trench Coat. Either way, it`s a no brainer that this is an essential piece in any woman`s wardrobe. It`s knee cut length is what i absolutely love about it. The older i`m growing, the more i`m appreciating this Trend. I have had this coat for almost four years now and it only gets better and better every single time i pull it out to rock it. Talking of versatile pieces. Funny enough, this wasn`t a planned outfit. You know how it`s always advised to plan out outfits before shoots to prepare yourself mentally? This rule doesn`t always apply to me. Who else can relate? I wore this to Church and since i was really pleased with the outcome, i decided to make a post on it. Can you tell that i was feeling Blue on this day? and the sun guys… The sun came out with a Bang! It was a productive weekend indeed. One which has led to an amazing week. I hope you are enjoying yours so far 🙂
